garri49 [273]

Answer:

Dear, friend It is amazing here at the magnificent splendor of the French court. The most potent symbol of the King’s absolute power. The people are very wealthy here. They welcomed me here in a very respectful manner. It's amazing literally. The palace was just to show off to the people and show how much control he had over the economy and what he could do with the money. He is really a very nice man.. I wish you could be here with me right now, I still can't believe that i'm here. I like the way they are so organized and polite. I just don't like how they show off every time some one new comes in. I feel like it is not need to do the extra. Everyone knows your wealthy and to class. I would love to work here or live here, the workers here are nice and sweet. They know what you like even before you tell them it's great.

What term best describes the balance of power in the years immediately after the cold war?
asambeis [7]

Balance of Power after the Cold War.

After the second world war, a persistent political conflict between the United States, the Soviet Union, and their allies came to be known as the Cold War.

What is the Cold War?

After the second world war, a persistent political conflict between the United States, the Soviet Union, and their allies came to be known as the Cold War. George Orwell gave this rivalry between the two superpowers its first term in a 1945 article.

The idea of "balance of power" is crucial for analyzing the cold war, which in principle was successful in preventing any major wars between 1945 and 1989. Communism vs democracy, USSR and its allies versus USA and its allies, were concepts based on ideologies. A situation in which peace is guaranteed by upholding an equilibrium of alliances between major countries is one in which there is a balance of power. Alliances, territory (spheres of influence), and military capacities were the three factors that evolved during the cold war and contributed to the balance of power scenario.

How is the power of the judicial branch kept in check?
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

The authors of the Constitution wanted to be sure that

no person or group would seize power and control

the American government. To insure that this would

not happen, our United States government, under

the Constitution; was divided into three parts: the

executive, the legislative, and the judicial. Each of

these three branches has a check on the powers of

the others. These checks provide a system of balance

in our government, and that is why we call the system

checks and balances.

You may also hear this system referred to as a

separation of powers. Although not directly mentioned

in the. Constitution, the first three articles mark the

responsibilities of the executive, legislative; and

judicial branches. It gives some power to each branch

of government instead of giving all the power to one

branch.

These are the most important checks and balances:

1. Executive branch has the power to check the

legislative branch by vetoing laws that Congress

wants to pass

2. Legislative branch may check the executive branch

by passing laws over the veto by two-thirds vote in

each house.
