I will list a few:

For:

  • Womens rights
  • believed women were just as equal as men
  • right to vote because lived in U.S.
  • show opinion through voting

Against:

  • some believed women were "too good and pure" to vote
  • some believed in male superiority
  • some believed women didn't produce much in the world and were not capable of doing so. *(this opinion was mainly because most women of that age worked in the house)
  • *little known fact: lots of women were against women suffrage because that would mean they would have to get drafted and fight in the war
