• Democracy was established in France
 • It led to the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte.

What was the cause of the American Revolution?

The American colonists were fed up with the unfair treatment by the British king and he unfairly taxed them to fund his wars.

The main causes of the American and French Revolutions were that the people needed a change and they decided to rebel and end the already established systems.

The major influence of both the American and French Revolutions was the economic situation of the country at the time.

The characteristics of both revolutions were wars and loss of life

The revolutions both ended when the people got what they wanted, freedom and autonomy.

The great economic and social divisions between the North and South in the first half of the 1800s eventually led to the Civil W

Well I think that the compromise could if been initiated if both sides would have agreed to sharing and trading goods with each other rather than trying to see which side was better at producing goods. But the issue of slavery was never going to be resolved because of the demand for slaves to harvest crops in the South and the non-stop debate of ending it in the North. So the two sides would have never ended it without the war because it was a hot topic for the people back in that time. This is credible because I learned that there were plenty of political debates that happen with Abraham Lincoln to convince others to stop slavery but they never worked and the war still happened so it was almost impossible to dodge. ( Brainliest Answer ! )
