The historical person chosen is Martin Luther King Jr, whose struggles were focused on racial equality and the achievement of civil rights for the black population.

<h3 /><h3>Who was Martin Luther King Jr?</h3>

He was an American born in Atlanta in 1929 and was murdered in 1968 in Memphis. He became one of the most recognized political activists in the world, for his pacifist ideals and speeches in favor of the black American civil rights movement.

As a Baptist pastor, Martin Luther King Jr focused his political leadership on establishing a peaceful struggle focused on dialogue and not violence.

His ideals brought together 250,000 people in the civil demonstration "March on Washington" in 1963, where he delivered the speech<em> "I Have a Dream"</em> that became world-renowned, generated reflection on racism and significant achievements for the black population, earning him the award Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.

Therefore, Martin Luther King Jr is one of the most important historical figures for the world, for promoting equality between individuals, dialogue and the fight for their ideals.
