I believe your answer is A but I'm not 100% sure. A euphemism is basically a gentler term for something harsh, like if someone died, to make it less blunt we would say they passed away. Let me know if this helped.

I would say this is true, although it may depend on the science the analysis is applied to. Whereas when it comes to literature or mathematics the analysis is quite abstract, in chemistry for example it is very concrete.
