The geography of Japan was able to help with Imperialism and industrialization based on the terrain of the nation.

What is the terrain of Japan?

The Japanese nation is a place that is known to have a terrain that is full of mountains. The area is known to be unsuitable for certain activities. An example of such is agriculture.

Hence the people had to be focused on the development of industries because they had islands which they used to serve as major ports for trade. This helped to drive them towards industrialization.

The Islands in the nation are 4 while they have other smaller ones that they use for trade.

Along with 55 percent of the popular vote, Lincoln wins 212 electoral votes to McClellan's 21.
