At the Kabah, the venerated object is - c. A meteorite.

Also known as Ka'bah or Kabah, al-Kaʿbah al-Musharrafah, Kaaba is a building in the heart of Masjid Al-Haram, the most important Islamic mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is the most sacred place in Islam. Muslims consider this to be Bite Allah, the Qibla when Muslims around the world perform salah.

In early Islam, in prayer, Muslims turned the general direction of Jerusalem as Qibla and turned to the Kaaba. Muslims believed that it was the result of a passage of revelation from the Qur'an to Muhammad to his Bee.

According to Islamic mythology, the Kaaba has been rebuilt several times in history. Most famously, Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Ismail (Ishmael) left his wife Hajar (Hagar) and returned to the Valley of Mecca a few years later. Ismail, and Allah's orders. Seven counterclockwise orbits of the Kaaba, known as Tawaf, are a required Hajj ritual to complete the Mecca and Umrah pilgrimages. The area around the Kaaba where pilgrims wander is called Mataf.
