The central idea in A Difficult Path is about the power of literacy while that of Tears of Autumn is about Hana who wanted to escape her village because of the stranglehold that he family had on her.

What is a central idea?

It should be noted that a central idea simply means the message or the idea that is conveyed in a literary work.

In "A difficult path", it can be seen that Lingsi gained education because of her mother's strength.

Tears of Autumn shows how Hana wanted to fully experience life and was willing to escape the village.
