Mercury is ingested in the excess amount by the person who consumes shark, king mackerel, and swordfish.

Eating seafood is good for health like fish etc. As they are a high source of proteins and omega-3 fatty acids. Mercury is a toxic metal that when ingested causes poisoning and neurological diseases which lead to sudden death.  Pregnant, nursing women and children should avoid eating fish in their diet. Larger fishes like Shark, and King mackerel feed on the small fishes due to which they have high mercury content. Mercury poisoning causes symptoms like- memory loss, numbness in the limbs, and deterioration the brain development.

To maximize absorption of digoxin, the nurse would instruct the patient to take the drug?
enyata [817]

To maximize absorption of digoxin, the nurse would instruct the patient to take the drug on an empty stomach.

Digoxin is absorbed, mainly in the small intestine, and certain drugs that can reduce digoxin absorption include antacids, magnecholestyramine, etc.

Digoxin is a class of drug called a cardiac glycoside. Their function is to reduce the heart rate and improve the filling of ventricles (chambers of the heart) with blood. It is generally prescribed to people with atrial fibrillation, who have irregular heartbeats and as a result, a different quantity of blood is pumped out with each beat.

a client with a terminal illness who is incapacitated is experiencing intractable pain that is no longer effectively addressed b
arlik [135]

The nurse anticipates using palliative sedation to handle this client's intractable pain.

<h3>How does the term "intractable pain" mean in medicine?</h3>

The definition of debilitating pain is "hardship whose source can indeed be removed and, per the broadly agreed clinical practice, a wide spectrum of pain treatment modalities adequate for this patient have been used without sufficient result or with unacceptable side effects." When a health care professional certifies a patient as having severe chronic pain, they were also certifying that the patient fulfills this definition.

<h3>An intractable function is what?</h3>

When considering computational complexity, intractable issues are those for which there are no effective solutions. The brute-force search algorithm is the one that offers a solution to the majority of seemingly insoluble situations.
