Answer:

B) The fragmented, decentralized nature of European feudal monarchies.

Explanation:

Like most European states at the time, the English monarchy had to contend with the power of an entrenched hereditary nobility and a semiautonomous clerical establishment. While the monarch’s power was absolute in theory, in practice he or she often needed to wield it in cooperation or consultation with the aristocracy and the clergy.

Answer:

The Espionage Act of 1917, passed on June 15, 1917, might very well be considered one of the most controversial laws ever passed in American history. Critics note that its harsh tone is an affront to the Constitution of the United States. Others may state that the law was necessary to safeguard the nation during the largest war humanity had ever seen at that point of time in history.

Explain how to tell which side of the line to shade ?
kramer

You should always use a reference point such as (0,0) to determine which side of the line to shade. For example we have the equation y>2x-1 we then use the point (0,0) by substituting the point in the equation.

y>2x-1 -----> 0>2*0-1

we then solve and make sure the point satisfies the inequality.

0>2*0-1 ------> 0-1=-1 ----> 0>-1

We see that the point does satisfy the equation so we shade whatever side of the line that includes the point (0,0)

Hope this helps!
