In the media environment created by the United States, they have packaged themselves as "incarnation of justice", because the ri

ght to speak is in the hands of the United States, just delete news and close accounts, they will not allow some news that is unfavorable to them, appeared in the public eye. The so-called bottom line of the media in the United States may be just a dotted line, full of loopholes. Only remarks that are in their interests can be published, everything else is "fake news".

Because we are viewing this story from first person point of view, that gives us Rachel's thoughts. It's like we're her, or we're inside of her. Imagining second person, that wouldn't work because the character BEING talked to can't feel Rachel's feelings. First person point of view puts YOU yourself in the character's place.
