Daniel's doctor told him that his stroke was caused by a blood clot in an artery in his brain which means the stroke was caused by a medical condition which is referred to as aneurysm.

<h3>What is Aneurysm?</h3>

This is referred to as a weakened artery rupturing and releasing blood content into the brain. This therefore causes a bulge in the walls of the artery and the major causes of this medical condition include the following:

  • Atherosclerosis
  • High blood pressure.

When this happens, the blood forms clot and impairs the function of the central nervous system thereby resulting in the numb sensation or paralysis of certain parts of the body.

The blood formed clots which resulted in the stroke encountered by Daniel in this scenario and therefore makes it the most appropriate choice.

Look at the graph below, which shows the population of the United States from 1790 to 1910. A graph titled U S Population Growth
Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer:

The population of the colonies that later became the United States increased steadily in the decades prior to , and including, the American revolution. The first decennial census took place in 1790 . Since that time, the natural increase, i.e, the excess of births over deaths, has been  a constant contributor to popular growth. The other factor, immigration, has ranged for negligible to large at various points in the nation's history.

After 1830, immigration began to grow again. Although the birth rate showed a decline , the net population growth rate remained high until after the Civil War. In the decade ending 1870,  population growth dropped below 30% for the first time in the nation's history. Substantial immigration kept the population rising at 20% or more for each decade until 1920, when the effect of Word War I reduced it to 14.9% .

15. For a random sample of n = 64, find the probability of a sample mean being
mart [117]

Answer:

0.9726

Explanation:

The computation of the probability of a sample mean is shown below:

P(\bar x < 24.3)

To find the probability first we have to determine the z score which is

z = \frac{\bar x - \mu_{\bar x}}{\sigma_{\bar x}} \\\\ = \frac{\bar x - \mu }{\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n} } } \\\\ = \frac{24.3 - 24}{\frac{1.25}{\sqrt{64} } }

= 1.92

Now probability is

P(\bar x < 24.3) \\\\= P(z < 1.92)

= 0.9726

Hence, the probability of the sample mean is 0.9726

We simply applied the above formulas to determined the probability of a sample mean and the same is to be considered
