  • Except for Eve, who was replaced by Geri , the Brady Bunch's original cast members starred in the series.
  • On November 28, 1976, a 60-minute special named The Brady Bunch Variety Hour marked the start of the program. The special was well-received and inspired the production of eight more 60-minute episodes, which were released and shown irregularly from January 23 to May 25, 1977, as The Brady Bunch Hour.
  • Mike Brady puts up his work as an architect and relocates his family to a beachside home somewhere in Southern California when the family is selected to star in a new variety series .
  • Along with the Brady family, the Brady's maid, Alice, was interest in Jack Merrill , the neighbor who lives next door (her former friend, Sam, is never mentioned).
  • In addition to the variety, they showed light comedy, song, and  dance, each episode also includes a behind-the-scenes story that takes place in the Brady's house.
