The equation for a circle is:

(x-a)^{2} + (y-b)^{2} + = r^{2}

Where (a,b) is the circle's center and r is the circle's radius.

First, we can find the center point of the circle. Because the two points from the problem are the endpoints of a diameter, the midpoint of the line segment is the center point of the circle.

The formula to find the mid-point of a line segment giving the two endpoints is:

M = (\frac{x_{1} + x_{2} }{2}, \frac{y_{1} + y_{2} }{y} )

Where <em>M </em>is the midpoint and the given points are:

(x_{1}, y_{1} ) and (x_{2} , y_{2})

Substituting the values from the two points in the problem gives:

M = (\frac{11+9}{2},\frac{-2+4}{2} )

M = (\frac{11+9}{2},\frac{2-4}{2})

M = (\frac{20}{2} , \frac{2}{2})

M = (10,1)

Katena32 [7]

Answer:

Mizuki is here to help! The answer is D!

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok... So there are 24 students in the class and no other students in the class has the same name right? So the fraction should be \frac{3}{24} since there are three madisons, which will be 0.125!

Since three people have the same name, everyone else gets less probability of getting called so the answer would be D.

You're looking for the volume of the prism.  The dead giveaway there is that you're looking for "cubic" measurement.  Cubic measures are indicators that the volume is being determined, just like "square feet" or inches, etc indicates area is being determined.  The volume for this prism is found by multiplying the length times the width times the height.  In decimal form, 45×30×40=54,000.  But that is in cubic inches and we want cubic feet.  So we will use dimensional analysis to convert that.  Setting up the DA looks like this, keeping in mind that there are 12 cubic inches in 1 cubic foot:  54,000in^3* \frac{1ft*1ft*1ft}{12in*12in*12in}.  The label of cubic inches cancels out leaving us with cubic feet, and doing the division there gives us 54,000/(12*12*12) which is 31.25 cubic feet.

Which of the following is not part of polyhedron.
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

Oblique. The other three are used to describe a polyhedron. They are related by the following formula

V + F - E = 2.

Where

  • V = number of vertexes
  • F = the number of faces
  • E = edges

For example consider a common cube, like a sugar cube.

It has 6 faces (f)

It has 8 vertexes (V)

It has 12 edges. E

6 + 8 - 12 = 14 - 12 = 2
