A subject is a part of a sentence that contains the person or thing performing the action (or verb) in a sentence.
Declarative sentences( End in period, like the sentence I am writing now), Exclamatory sentences(End in exclamation mark), Interrogative sentences(End in question mark), Imperative sentences(giving a command), and Conditional sentences(If____________, I would_____________.).
In the texts, the narrators have issues with their self-identity as they sense imperceptible and do not sense they are distinct from different people. Nevertheless, while in the "Secrets of the Cicada Summer" the author only sees herself as imperceptible, in "Bloomability" the writer is wondering if she prefers to be hidden.
