Ray observes a study-abroad student throw her books down on the desk, and thinks of her as a very rude person. He engages in "attribution" as he attempts to find a reason for why she behaved this way.

<h3>What is attribution?</h3>

Assigning causes to events or behaviours is the process of assigning blame in social psychology. We all engage in attribution in daily life, often without being aware of the underlying assumptions and biases that influence our conclusions.

There are basically two types of attributions:

  • internal and external: Internal attributions are when an event or conduct is attributed to personal characteristics, such as a person's skills. The idea that situational elements, such a person's actual surroundings, are what caused an occurrence or conduct is known as an external attribution.
  • personal and situational: The act of putting external circumstances or events—rather than one's own internal qualities—instead of those person's own characteristics as the source of conduct. We frequently attribute external factors, such as situational or environmental factors, to try to explain our own conduct.

Some examples of attribution are-

  • Let's say a student fails an exam, and her parents assume that either her teacher was awful or the problems were more challenging than normal. These attributions are situational.
  • On a highway, Maria's automobile breaks down. If she attributes the breakdown to her lack of knowledge of automobiles, she is internalising the error.

What is the term used to describe the way the behavior of buyers and sellers affects the level of prices for goods and services,
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

The term used is "law of supply and demand".

Explanation:

The law of supply and demand is the term used to describe the relationship between buyers and sellers that results in changes in the price of products and services, without government interference.

This law states that when buyers look for the same product in large quantities, it means that there is an increase in demand and a decrease in supply, which makes the price of the product more expensive.

On the other hand, when buyers are looking for a product less, the demand is lower and the supply is higher, causing the price of that product to decrease.

Laws always result from the pushes and pulls of lobbying efforts, political pressures, and have nothing to do with ethics.
Leto [7]
It is false, because the law is based on core ideas of ethics, actually. In common law, cases are determined with the help of the past decisions. Those decisions are also based on past decisions and so on. It shows that timeline doesn't matter; what matters is just the rules and principles of law.

Leokris [45]
<span>Business people in intense competition with each other to produce a better, less expensive product or service are and always has been good for the economy of any country. When businesses are allowed to become too big to fail, to hire trained gunslingers in the form of expensive lobbyists and contribute heavily to the campaigns of candidates who provide those businesses favors, privileges, subsidies, tax cuts, etc., they cease to be good for the economy of our country. </span>
<span> Business owners hate unions because it gets in the way of them making money.
</span> Unions are hated because they force business owners to do the right thing. Sometimes what is right keeps them from maximizing their profits. There are labor laws, however can be ignored when greed is involved. Most employers get away with it as opposed to employers who have employees with unions.
