How is a climax community different than a primitive community?

A climax community is a community consisting of plants and animals which by the process of ecological succession has reached a stable state. This state has reached following a span of time. In case of primitive community, it can be said that the plants and animals within this community have just started their development and is in a primitive and unstable state.
