The value of angle RQT is 101° and angle QTS is 51°.

What is a Circle?

A circle is a round-shaped figure with all points lying in the same plane, the distance between all the points on the circle and the center of the circle is equal.

A quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides, the quadrilateral is of many types like a trapezoid, parallelogram, rhombus, and square.

When a Quadrilateral is inscribed in a circle, the sum of the angles of the opposite sides of the quadrilateral is equal to 180 degrees.

A quadrilateral QRST is inscribed in a circle.

Arc RQT measures 202°.

Angle QRS measures 129°.

The measure of angle RQT = (1/2) * Arc RQT

(By the property of the arcs that the angle subtended at the center is double the angle subtended by the same arc at the circumference)

Angle RQT = (1/2) * 202

Angle RQT = 101°

Opposite angles are supplementary

QTS + QRS = 180

QTS + 129 = 180

QTS = 180 - 129

QTS = 51°

Please Help!
The following is an isosceles trapezoid, find RS
patriot [66]

Answer:

The length of RS is 47 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Midsegment Theorem

The midsegment of a trapezoid is a line segment that connects the midpoints of the non-parallel sides.

The length of the midsegment of a trapezoid is the average of the lengths of the bases.

The midsegment of the given trapezoid is VW, and the bases are RS and UT.

According to the midsegment theorem:

\displaystyle VW=\frac{RS+UT}{2}

Substituting the variable lengths of the sides:

\displaystyle 3x+5=\frac{2x+15+6x-37}{2}

Operating:

\displaystyle 3x+5=\frac{8x-22}{2}

Dividing the fraction:

3x+5=4x-11

Rearranging:

4x-3x=5+11

Operating:

x=16

The length of RS is:

RS=2x+15=2*16+15=32+15=47

The lenght of RS is 47 units

Rosalinda examined the angles at right and wrote the equation below.
jeyben [28]

a. Does her equation make sense? If so, explain why her equation must be true. If it is not correct, determine what is incorrect and rewrite the equation.

b. If you have not already done so, solve her equation, clearly showing all your steps. What are the measures of the two angles?

c. Verify that your answer is correct.

The figure is attached below

Given : (2x+1) + (x-10) = 90

(a) Yes , the equation make sense because right angle is 90 degree. Also two angles make up 90 degree.

(b) solve for x, (2x+1) + (x-10) = 90

2x+1 + x-10 = 90 ( combine like terms)

3x -9 = 90 (add 9 on both sides)

3x = 99

x = 33

One angle is 2x+1 = 2(33) +1 = 67 degrees

Another angle = x-10 = 33-10 = 23 degrees

(c) one angle + another angle = 90

67 + 23 = 90

So verified
