4 0

0.44 the frequency of the homozygous individuals in this population.

What is Hardy-Weinberg principle ?

The Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium is a principle stating that the genetic variation in a population will remain constant from one generation to the next in the absence of disturbing factors.

From the Hardy Weinberg Law of Population and Genetics,

We have

x²+2xy+y²=1 and

x+y=1

where

x = frequency of the dominant allele in the population

y = frequency of the recessive allele in the population

x2 = percentage of homozygous dominant individuals

y2 = percentage of homozygous recessive individuals

2xy = percentage of heterozygous individuals

Given 2xy = 0.56

from here, y=0.28/x, (the frequency of the recessive allele ) can be obtained

we need to find 'x'

recall, x+y=1, x=1-y

substituting this gives us

y=0.28/(1-y), which becomes,

y(1-y)=0.28

y²- y + 0.28 (quadratic equation)

Solving this to find 'y' gives two imaginary values of y = 0.44 but ,

There is no imaginary solution .

What is considered the ultimate wonder of cells
Lapatulllka [165]
According to G.D Budhiraja in his book "The Natural Way of Healthy Aging," the ultimate wonder of cells is the egg cell.

The egg cells is considered to be the ultimate wonder of cells because of its potential to form another human being. Once fertilized, the egg cell multiplies and grows, and "seems to know" just the right timing for certain processes to occur within the embryo or fetus. It seems to know when certain hormones should be produced, when it should implant in the uterus, and when the hands, legs, feet, hair, and other parts of the embryo and fetus should grow.

Anatomy of the liver: an outline with three levels of complexity--a further step towards tailored territorial liver resections.
QveST [7]

Depending on the purpose for which the description is needed, there are three various levels of complexity at which the vascular architecture of the liver might be described:

 • The first level, known as the conventional level, is equivalent to Couinaud's classic 8-segment scheme and serves as a common language for doctors from other disciplines to define the location of localized hepatic lesions.
 • The true branching of the hepatic veins and the main portal pedicles is taken into consideration in the second, surgical level, which will be used for anatomical liver resections and transplantations. Modern surgical and radiological procedures may fully exploit this anatomy, but doing so involves acknowledging that the Couinaud scheme is oversimplified and examining the vascular architecture objectively.
 • The third degree of complexity, known as the academic level, is focused on the anatomist and the requirement to provide a systematization that clarifies the apparent conflicts between anatomical literature, radiological imaging, and surgical practice.

Can
Describe how transpiration pull
be demonotrated
bulgar [2K]

Answer:

Transpiration pull occurs when water evaporates through the stomata. As water evaporate through the stomata, mesophyll cells draws water from the xylem of the leaves, which in turn draws water from xylem in the stem. This create a tension called transpiration pull
