The teddy bear symbolizes Cara's love for her grandfather because that text states that "Now, every time Cara misses her grandfather, she holds on tightly." This statement supports that everytime Cara misses her grandfater she squeezes it tightly to remind her love for him.
There are 4 sections in a Shakespearean sonnet.
