The superior vena cava  returns most of the venous blood from the heart to the right atrium.

The whole return of systemic venous blood goes to the right atrium. Either the inferior vena cava or the superior vena cava receives the majority of the blood. The superior vena cava receives systemic venous circulation, which includes blood from the head, neck, chest, shoulders, and upper limbs, from above an imaginary line drawn at the level of the diaphragm.

Most of the body above the diaphragm is drained via the superior vena cava. The axillary vein, which originates in the axillary area, goes through the body wall to produce the subclavian vein on both the left and right sides. The brachiocephalic vein is created when it unites with the external and internal jugular veins of the head and neck.

So, we can elminate plants because they can photosynthesise; bacteria because they are prokaryotes and can photosynthesise; archaea because they are prokaryotes; hat leaves us with animals and fungi because these cannot photosynthesise and are both eukaryotes.

But, we cannot skip information. It is also said that the organism found has a cell wall, and animals do not have cell walls.

Runner stems are those that grow horizontally, therefore the fourth image with the long horizontal stems.

Rhizome stems are underground stems that can form roots or shoots through their nodes. Therefore, the third image with white background (the one with 2 drawn plants).

Tuber stems are large underground (mostly) structures used as storages for the plant. Therefore, this corresponds to the first image (the one with the white background.

Bulb stems are short and "bulby" stems, whith thick, leaves. Therefore, the second image (the one with the grass background).

Hope it helped,

Which of the following is an example of post-transcriptional control of gene expression?
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

Option (c).

Explanation:

Transcription may be defined as the process of formation of RNA molecule from the template DNA with the help of enzymes and transcription factors. The transcription occurs in 5' to 3' direction.

Post trancriptional modification occurs in the RNA molecule that plays an important role in transcription as well as translation. The introns are removed from the RNA transcript and exons joined together is known as splicing. The alternative splicing occurs in which different protein isoforms are formed by the single exons.

Thus, the correct answer is option (c).
