The individual who was remarkable in the 1960s and 1970s. Martin Luther King during these periods wanted change in order to ensure that the African-American population who were suffering due to denial of their rights enjoyed change to better their life.

One of such events is the Watergate scandal in the 70s, in which case people started to undermine the government and believe that the system was working against them, which was a consequence of the fact that they believed President Nixon was using the state resources against his political opponents.
