What happened in the Great Depression?

The Great Depression saw a lot of economic losses incurred by people with their livelihood being hit hard and their savings disappearing.

People around the United States who were suffering became desparate and engaged in protests to voice their discontent. They also looted stores to get food to eat.

What are two reasons why people might support trial by jury
baherus [9]
Jury trials educate jurors about the justice system. People who serve on juries have a greater respect for the system when they leave. Serving on a jury gives people insight into the justice system and their own communities, and corrects misapprehensions about what takes place in a courtroom.
hope this helps!
