Your body's physiological make-up and genetic makeup cannot be altered, but you do have some influence over things like your attitude toward fitness, where you work out, and the people who encourage you in your endeavors.

What are the determinants of physical fitness?

10 Physical Fitness Measures to Determine Your Level of Fitness

body structure. In essence, this relates to the relative amounts of bone density, muscle, and other important body parts. Cardiovascular fitness levels, flexibility, speed, power, coordination, balance, agility, and more.

What contributes most to increasing fitness level?

Exercise must be safe if it is to be used for physical conditioning. When creating and executing an exercise program to improve both health and fitness, safety is the most crucial issue to take into account.

Can we manage every issue that affects our physical fitness?

Not all of the things are under our control. Only certain types of housing situations are conducive to healthy fitness regimens. In general, you have to be accountable for your physical health.

URGENT!! PLEASE HELP!!!
nadya68 [22]
In complementary base pairing, the G pairs with C, and A pairs with T. Given that this be the rule, the complementary nucleotides for your sequence would be as follows: CGATTAACGTAGGCA.

With regards to proofreading, mutations in cell division occur once in around every 100,000 base pairs. If this happens, the enzyme that pairs the nucleotides to form DNA, called DNA polymerase, detects the error and moves back along the strand, it then cuts the incorrect nucleotide and replaces it with the correct one, fixing the error and continuing with the DNA synthesis.
This process corrects the majority of errors in DNA synthesis, but some errors can still be missed by the DNA polymerase, this is then rectified by a protein complex which binds to the incorrect pairing until anther complex, comes along and cuts that particular section of DNA out, which is then replaced by a new section of correct nucleotides synthesized by the polymerase enzyme, the two sections at either end that were cut is then sealed by ligase, an enzyme which essentially "glues" the DNA stands back together.

My apologies for the long answer, I hope I answered your question and that you understand it well enough.

Why was discovering the shape of DNA important?
ddd [48]
One important area of DNA research is that of genetics and medical research. Due to our discovery of DNA, our ability to actually diagnose diseases early on has been vastly improved. In addition, we have been able to better assess a person's genetic susceptibility to specific diseases. In doing so, we have also paved the pathway to formulate brand new drugs to treat these diseases. In fact, drugs can essentially be custom made to complement a person's personal biochemistry and genetic makeup. For those diseases that were previously considered lethal and where treatment was either non-existent or largely unsuccessful, the discovery of DNA has essentially led to breakthrough drugs and treatments for patients with serious illnesses.
