The solution of the given inequality is x<-9.

What is inequality?

Inequality is the relationship between two expressions that are not equal, employing a sign such as ≠ “not equal to,” > “greater than,” or < “less than.”.

Numbers (constants), variables, operations, functions, brackets, punctuation, and grouping can all be represented by mathematical symbols, which can also be used to indicate the logical syntax's order of operations and other features.

The given inequality is |x + 10|| <1. The inequality will be solved as below:-

|x + 10|| <1

Take 10 to the right side of the inequality and solve it further.

|x || <1 - 10

x < -9

Therefore, the solution of the given inequality is x<-9.

Answer:

Answer:

Since you don't show your triangles, I'm guessing it is this one...?

△DWP  D = (-2, 4), W = (-1, 2), P = (3, 3)

△MJS  M = (-4, -4), J = (-2, -3), S = (-3, 1)

There are 2 steps:

1. 90° counterclockwise rotation about the origin

2. Translation downward 2 units

Step-by-step explanation:

1. 90° counterclockwise rotation about the origin = (x, y) to (-y, x),

D moves from (-2, 4) to (-4, -2)

W moves from (-1, 2) to (-2, -1)

P moves from (3, 3) to (-3, 3)

2. Translation downward 2 units = (x, y) to (x, y-2),

D moves from (-4, -2) to (-4, -4) = M

W moves from (-2, -1) to (-2, -3) = J

P moves from (-3, 3) to (-3, 1) = S

Therefore △DWP IS congruent to △MJS.

What is the third quartile of this data set 21,24,25,28,29,35,37,43,44
FrozenT [24]

Answer:

40

Step-by-step explanation:

The data is

21,24,25,28,29,35,37,43,44

To find the third quartile we have to arrange the data in increasing order

so the data in increasing order is

21,24,25,28,29,35,37,43,44

total number of values = 9

Median value = (n + 1 )/ 2

                       =(9+1)/2

                       =5th value

so the median is  29

Lower half of the data is the values before the median and upper half of the data is values after the median

so lower half = {21,24,25,28}

Upper half = {35,37,43,44}

so to find the third quartile we will use the upper half of the values

Third quartile means that the median of the values of upper half of the data

As the total No of value in upper half is 4 which is an even no

we will take the middle values of the upper half and take their mean

so

Third Quartile = \frac{37+43}{2}

                        =\frac{80}{2}

                        =40

so the value of third quartile is 40

What is x if 3x+2=5x-8?
anyanavicka [17]
3x + 2 = 5x - 8
Flip
5x - 8 = 3x + 2
Subtract both sides by 3x
2x - 8 = 2
Add both sides by 8
2x = 10
Divide both sides by 2
x = 5

That's your answer.

Have an awesome day! :)
