Only the culturable organisms in the sample, which can represent as little as 1% of the total bacteria present, are indicated by the heterotrophic plate count.

What is heterotrophic pate count technique?

A variety of factors can influence how bacteria grow on a given media. These variables include the make-up of the incubation medium, incubation temperature, incubation period, etc. Fastidious bacteria, for example, are unable to grow on the Nutrient Agar medium, and some germs can take a very long period to form colonies that are visible.

The actual number of microorganisms in the sample may be significantly higher than that estimated by a heterotrophic plate count, for the two primary reasons mentioned above.

Thus, Only the culturable organisms in the sample, which can represent as little as 1% of the total bacteria

The continuum model of abnormality demonstrates that: A. there is a clear distinction between dysfunctional and deviant behavior
harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

D. no sharp line exists between what is normal and abnormal.

Explanation:

The continuum model of normality suggests that normal to abnormal behavior falls along a continuum, hence there is no clear cut difference between what is abnormal and normal. Determining what is normal or abnormal is usually based on subjective judgement. In other words, abnormality and normality are not perceptively different.

Someone can consider an act abnormal based on culture and that same act may be considered normal in another culture.

guajiro [1.7K]

Answer:

Categorical Imperative; Immanuel Kant

Explanation:

Kant´s moral theory - influenced by the French Enlightenment Rationalism is based on the central idea that the only intrinsically good thing is a good will which is subject to the moral law.

The Categorical Imperative is his construction of moral law, following the principle of universalizability (applied to all people) and that of humanity - never treat other humans as a means to an and. It is therefore not surprising that Feminism used this part of Kantian Perspective on Ethics to condemn certain practices regarding women, because they treat women as means.
