The construction of rafts reinforced in Cabeza de Vaca and the other explorers, the desire to leave the continent and seek survival.

What happened to Cabeza de Vaca and the explorers?

 • They were out of groceries in America.
 • They were without proper residences.
 • They weren't finding metals and gems.

Cabeza de Vaca and other explorers, landed in Florida looking for riches they could not find. The exploration they started was not positive as they lost contact with the ship and were stranded in an unknown land with few resources and supplies.

To try to get out of the American continent, they built rafts, which stimulated their desire for survival and to return to a safe and pleasant region.
