Macbeth is actually referred to as a tragedy play that was written by William Shakespeare. The story talks about Macbeth, a Scottish general who received a prophecy from two witches who told him that he will become the king of Scotland one day.

We see that his quest for power led him to different atrocities. He was also aided by his wife, Lady Macbeth. She was always persuading Macbeth to commit the evil.
