The formula for this would be the Pythagorean Theorem. This meaning a²+b²=c²
so a²+15²=25, 15²=225, so a²+225=25, move the 225 over and a²=250, square root of 250 is 15.8 rounded up to 16 feet so, so a=16. but idk that might not be right

In 1980 and again in 2010, a Gallup poll asked a random sample of 1000 US citizens people "Are you in favor of the death penalty
Digiron [165]

Answer:

H0: p(1980) = p(2010) ; H1 : P(1980) > P(2010)

0.02

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

Sample size in both 1980 and 2010 = 1000 samples :

Proportion in favor :

P(1980) = 0.66

P(2010) = 0.64

To test the hypothesis :

Null hypothesis :

Proportion in favor are the same in both years

Null hypothesis = H0 = p(1980) = p(2010)

Alternative hypothesis :

Proportion in favor in 1980 is greater than that in 2010

Alternative hypothesis = H1 : P(1980) > P(2010)

The sample statistic :

P(1980) - p(2010)

0.66 - 0.64

= 0.02

What is the value for the missing angle ??
allsm [11]
Answer: 9 inches.
Do the pythagorean theorem to find your answer.
Formula: a^2 + b^2 = c2
12 = b
15 = c
a^2 + 12^2 = 15^2
Simplify the equation
a^2 + 144 = 225
Subtract 144 on both sides.
a^2 = 81
Square root of 81 is 9.
