The value of the two gift cards would be the same at 40 30-days

The value of each card be when they have equal value is $15

What can be used to represent value of number of 30 days?

Let us assume that each 30-day period is x, based on the  value of each gift is the initial value minus the number of 30-days multiplied by loss in  value for every 30-day period

First gift card value=135-3x

Second gift card value=115-2.50x

At the same  number of 30-days, their values are the same

135-3x=115-2.50x

135-115=-2.50x+3x

20=0.50x

x=20/0.50

x=40

Value of each gift card at 40 30-days=135-(3*40)

Value of each gift card at 40 30-days=135-120

Value of each gift card at 40 30-days=15

value of each gift card=115-2.50(40)

value of each gift card=115-100

value of each gift card=15

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

The screenshot given explains the formula of standard deviation, which measures the variation of numbers in a set.

It basically says we have to find the sum of all the numbers subtracted by the mean squared, and divide that by the number of data sets, and then square root.

The only way we can get this problem is by B.

Sean pays £10 for 24 chocolate bars. He sells all 24 chocolate bars for 50p each.
VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

the percentage profit is 20%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

Sean paid  £10 for 24 chocolate bars

He sold all 24 chocolate bars for 50p each

we need to find out the percentage profit

Since he paid  £10 and sale value is (24 × 0.50) i.e. £12

So, the percentage profit is

= (£12 - £10) ÷ (£10)

= 20%

Hence, the percentage profit is 20%

Is the function given by, (Picture Provided)
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

a. yes

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function is

f(x)=\left \{ {{3x-2,if\:x\le3} \atop {10-x,if\:x\:>\:3}} \right.

f(3)=\left \{ {{3(3)-2,if\:x\le3} \atop {10-3,if\:x\:>\:3}} \right.=7

\lim_{x \to 3^-} f(x)=3(3)-2=7

\lim_{x \to 3^+} f(x)=10-3=7

\Rightarrow \lim_{x \to 3} f(x)=7

Since;

\lim_{x \to 3} f(x)=f(3)

The function is continuous at x=3
