Based on the international letter length and that of the U.S. letter, the one that is longer is the International letter.

Which letter is longer?

In the United States, the letter size in use is called the U.S. letter size. This letter size has dimensions of 8.5 x 11 inches which means it is about 11 inches long.

International letter however use the A4 standard and the A4 letter has the dimensions of 8.3 × 11.7 inches. This means that while the A4 is slimmer than the U.S. letter, it is longer by 0.7 inches.

What options did kennedy have in order to remove the missile crisis from cuba?
Ghella [55]
Kennedy had several different options on how to react to finding out about Soviet missiles in Cuba. They are as followed:

A) He could not do anything- this was the worst possible move, as he would be seen weak in the eyes of the Soviet Union.

B) Launch an attack/invasion on Cuba- Launching an sort of attack could be very dangerous, as any missiles they do not destroy could be used against the US. Since Cuba is only 90 miles away from the US, any missiles used would kill millions of American citizens.

C) Create a blockade around Cuba- This would prevent any future missiles from entering Cuba. However, this is often seen as an act of war.

In the end, Kennedy does a blockade. After the blockade, he is able to establish a deal with the Soviet Union in which they remove their missiles from Cuba as long as the US removes their missiles from Turkey.

How did Jesuits spread catholic faith among the masses?
VikaD [51]

The Jesuits, to paraphrase Star Trek, went boldly where no European had gone before.

The basic strategy of the Jesuits was to convert people who had never heard of Christianity. So, off they went into the world. Jesuits traveled throughout India and Japan and throughout Southeast Asia and Canada and converted along the way (with quite a bit of resistance from the locals).
