The behavioral component of attitude is what motivates a person to act in a particular way towards a person or an object.

The behavioral component of attitude is responsible for our actions based on the influence of our attitude. For instance, a person's attitude towards a spider can cause them to scream when they spot one, therefore, showcasing their behavior towards the insect. Attitudes in individuals are believed to have three components, the affective component, behavioral component and the cognitive component. Apart from behavioral, the affective component of our attitude is responsible for our emotions and feeling and the cognitive component is what is responsible for our knowledge and belief system. Together, these three aspects consist of attitude that helps in our evaluation of a person or an object.
