A healthy balance of power between the states and the federal government is helped by the practice of reserving some functions for state governments.

They also provide the states the leeway to experiment with various ideas and projects, which is one reason why the states are sometimes referred to be the "laboratories of democracy."

This is further explained below.

What is centralized government?

Generally, A centralized government concentrates executive and legislative authority at the top level, rather than at the lower levels. National centralization transfers authority to a unitary sovereign nation-state.

In conclusion, It is helpful to maintain a balance of authority between the states and the federal government, which may be achieved by reserving powers for state governments. They also provide governments the ability to experiment with a variety of ideas and initiatives, which is one reason why states are sometimes referred to be the "laboratories of democracy."

Why are pandemics more dangerous to developing nations?
notsponge [240]
Because a pandemic(unlike and epidemic, which is more provincial) reaches around an entire nation and/or continent. Obviously, a nationwide sickness would be terrible for a newly developing nation trying to get on its feet for the first time. It’s just more unnecessary work for the new nation to deal with. Hope this helps!
