The event that led to the breakdown of relations between Vietnam and France was H0 Chi Minh’s founding of the Viet Minh.

Why did Vietnam and France fall out?

The reason why the French and Vietnamese fell out and had a breakdown in their relationship was because H0 Chi Minh founded the Viet Minh.

The Viet Minh was a movement that wanted independence from colonial powers which led to them having conflict with France when the French wanted to reestablish colonial rule.

The Viet Minh had fought the Japanese during World War II when the Japanese invaded Vietnam (then Indochina) and the French were forced to retreat and leave the Vietnamese to fend for themselves.

After World War II, the French came back to assert dominance and were resisted by the Viet Minh who then defeated them in a war of independence.

A power plant recently purchased land and will be building a large factory on wetlands in Florida. Which of these is not an envi
Anika [276]

The correct answer is: " Destroying the wetlands will create species to relocate to a new area.".

The other three options, do mention environmental consequences that would be triggered because of the destruction of the wetland: loss of habitat and climate changes in the area that would lead to more extreme phenomena such as flooding. But the removal of species cannot be considered an environmental effect because it is just derived from the establishment of the factory that occupies the space where species used to live and hence, these are forced to move somewhere else.

All the options provided describe negative externalities generated by an economic activity, which are the costs beared by external third parties when an economic activity is undertaken.

When is clinical significance most likely to be minimal while statistical significance is quite large?
Evgesh-ka [11]

It is INCORRECT to state that clinical significance means "most likely to be minimal" while statistical significance is "quite large"

What is Statistical significance?

In general, statistical significance is attributed to a result when it is determined that an occurrence is unlikely to have happened by chance.

What is Clinical significance?

Clinical significance (also known as actual relevance) is ascribed to a result when an event has had real and quantifiable consequences.

In other words, statistical significance aims to refute a negative and establish that an event did not occur by chance; clinical significance seeks to establish a positive and establish that an event did occur in a specific, measurable manner.
