The character of Sekhar is such that he is inquisitive. The source of his conflict is his inquisitive nature and his insistence to tell the absolute truth no matter what.

Why is the above the source of his conflict?

The conflict with Sekhar is that he wants to tell the absolute truth. But no one wants to hear the absolute truth.

This creates a situational irony because eventually, Sekhar is penalized for telling the truth like it is.
