D- Roosevelt and Churchill prioritized the war in Europe and placed the Pacific war against Japan on the back burner.

What is war ?

Between states, governments, societies, or paramilitary groups like mercenaries, insurgents, and militias, there is an intense armed confrontation known as war[a]. Extreme violence, aggressiveness, devastation, and mortality, whether committed by conventional or irregular military troops, are typically its defining characteristics. The term "warfare" describes the typical actions and traits of particular war types or of wars in general. Total war is defined as warfare that extends beyond solely military objectives and is capable of causing significant suffering and casualties among civilians and other non-combatants.

While some war studies experts believe that violence is an innate and universal component of human nature, others contend that it is a response to particular sociocultural, economic, or ecological conditions.

According to the essay “Everyday Life,” why were citizens of Massachusetts and other states so alarmed by the skirmishes of Shay
tino4ka555 [31]
The battles between rebellious farmers and government militias alarmed many citizens of the young United States because the United States had so recently fought the Revolutionary War and was still recovering. Many of the soldiers fighting for the Regulators and the government militias had fought together during the Revolutionary War. The fact that the fighting occurred between different groups of US citizens was shocking and surprising.

how does the world war 1 not live up to the expectations of those who entered the war in regards to style/length/honor
AysviL [449]

The First World War was an armed conflict that, when compared to the Second World War, is considered by some to be a less striking conflict. Nevertheless, it is an important event in history because it caused many changes.

What was the first world war?

World War I was a European war conflict that lasted from 1914 to 1918, when Germany accepted the terms of the armistice.

In this war the main European powers of the moment faced each other, on the one hand there was the Triple Alliance that was made up of: the German Empire and Austria-Hungary.

On the other hand was the Triple Entente, formed by the United Kingdom, France and the Russian Empire. Also, later, the Empire of Japan and the United States joined the Triple Entente, while the Ottoman Empire and the Kingdom of Bulgaria joined the Central Powers.

Why this war does not live up to the expectations of some?

This war can be considered by many people as a minor war because although at the time it was the largest war conflict in history, World War II greatly surpassed everything that happened in the First World War.

On the other hand, in time it was shorter since it only lasted four years, while the second world war lasted six years.
