The correct answer is The author uses descriptions of the months to show how fast time passes in life.

C is the statement that best describes how the author develops the poem's theme. The author illustrates how quickly time goes by in life with descriptions of the months.

The message that an author wants to convey to the readers is simply referred to as the passage's subject. It is the passage's major topic.

In this instance, the author illustrates how quickly time goes by in life with descriptions of the months. The author was still expressing his gratitude that March had arrived and that April had knocked on the door. This proved how quickly time passes.

How does a story being written in first person make a story more believable
butalik [34]

Answer:

A story written in 1st person pov is more believable because the person is talking about their experiences and opinions.  First person point of view also helps the story become more interesting because you know how the person feels, and their thoughts on certain things.

Jack boasts that his tribe does whatever he wants. Why is this true? Why might the boys prefer Jack's leadership to Ralph's?
sukhopar [10]
Jack has a more appealing leadership because he campaigns that his tribe will have fun and hunt for pigs (which is appealing to the protein deprived children). Ralph and Piggy don't try to make the situation fun, they realise that they have things they need to do in order to survive and especially in order to be rescued. They build shelters, firewood, and take care of the little-uns. This is all very exhausting unappealing work for boys of their age who aren't all at the maturity Ralph, Piggy, Simon, and the twins seem to have. They would rather chant war calls and run around than to work and worry. (Haven't read this book in awhile but I hope this helps!)
