When you combine 6 and 4 and reorder the terms, it's 2c^2 - 5c + 10

All you have to do is combine the ones you circled (6 and 4). You leave the ones woth variables alone because one is squared while the other isn't. You're answer should be: 2c^2 - 5c + 10

The dockland building in hamburg, germany is built in the shape of a parallelogram. What is the length of the flight of stairs t
Tamiku [17]

Answer:

The length of the flight of stairs is 52 m

Step-by-step explanation:

In parallelograms, opposite sides are equal in length

In the given figure

∵ The building is built in the shape of a parallelogram

∵ The length of the flight of stairs is one side of it

→ We can find it by finding the hypotenuse of the right triangle

 whose legs are 47 m and 22 m

∴ The length of it = the length of the hypotenuse of the right Δ

→ By using the Pythagoras Theorem

∵ h = \sqrt{(leg1)^{2}+(leg2)^{2}}

∵ leg1 = 47 and leg2 = 22

∴ h = \sqrt{(47)^{2}+(22)^{2}}

∴ h = \sqrt{2209+484}

∴ h = \sqrt{2693}

∴ h = 51.89412298

∵ h represents the length of the flight of stairs

∴ The length of the flight of stairs = 51.89412298 m

→ Round it to the nearest meter

∴ The length of the flight of stairs = 52 m

Sasha and Mona practiced swimming every day. They increased the number of minutes of swimming every week as described below:
vagabundo [1.1K]
D. Sasha's method is exponential because it increases by a fixed factor, and Mona's method is linear because it increases by a fixed number.

Hope this helps!~

Answer...........................
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

9.9 years

Step-by-step explanation:

A = P e ^(rt)

Where A is the amount in the account

P is the amount invested

R is the interest rate

t is the time

P = 8500

r =7% = .07

A = 17000

Substituting into the equation

17000=8500 e^(.07t)

Divide each side by 8500

17000/8500=8500/8500 e^(.07t)

2 = e^(.07t)

Take the natural log of each side

ln (2) = ln e^(.07t)

ln(2) = .07t

Divide each side by .07

ln(2)/.07 = .07t/.07

ln(2)/.07 = t

9.902102579=t

Rounding to one decimal place

The sketches show the graphs y=-x^2+16 and y=7
Tanzania [10]

Answer:

7 = -x^2 +16

x^2 -16 = 7

x^2 -23 = 0

Using quadratic equation

x = -0 +- sqrt (23^2 - 4*1*23) / 2 * 1

x = sqrt (0 - -92) / 2

x = sqrt (92) / 2

x1 = 4.7958

x2 = -4.7958
