The meaning of the phrase ""bear 't""  is "bear it".

The word left out between the words but and few is "give".

The meaning of 'bear it' is to be patient and wait while someone does something, tolerating or enduring. For example- If you'll just bear with me for a moment, I'll find you a copy of the drawings. "the bees form large colonies and need the thick branches of tall trees to bear the weight of their nests."

How does development gather speed
RSB [31]

Answer:

Speed meaning momentum I would think you mean. And an inanimate concept of development gathers no momentum. I think you are asking how some team of people working on a development, gather momentum with their effort? Which of course depends on the team & the discipline of the effort. A team trying to gain momentum with their project in medicine would be very difficult indeed. Too many safeguards in place to stop momentum. Some new website concept might be hard to restrain it’s momentum. So since the question is so general & open ended, it is almost unanswerable. Being in the single category ‘Speed’ seems to deal with physics. I still believe the question is about the human construct ‘project development’ rather than physics.

Naily [24]

Answer:

After arriving in North America in 1630, the Puritans focused on converting American Indians to their religion.

Explanation:

Puritans were said to be people who were members of a religious movement that came up in the northern English colonies in the 1620s and 1630s. By the 1630s, they left England in large numbers and formed New haven colony, Massachusetts Bay Colony and others.

They acted like their Spanish and French Catholic rivals by converting the native peoples to the version of Christianity they were professing.
