<h3>What are Fossils ? </h3>

Fossils are the preserved remains, or traces of remains of ancient organism. They are rocks .The feathers, bones, shells, teeth etc all are fossils. Due to fossils Scientist were able to do so many discoveries.

Three most common fossils are :

1) Impression Fossils ,contains the print of plants or animals on the rocks , mud, sand ,slit.

2) Trace fossils capture the activities of ancient animals . The impression  on soft mud ,hard rocks .

3) Replacement fossils .

Gastropods includes snail or the animals which lack backbone ,they are the type of molluscs . Snails possess the hard part on their back and fossils mostly represent the hard part organism, snails are the most common types of gastropods fossils.
