Hi there,

I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy!

In order to know if they are equivalent to 7:3, we need to divide them so that we can get their decimal number to make it easier to compare them.

so 7 divided by 3 = 2.3

In order for them to be equivalent to 7:3, they must equal the same thing

So let's divide the rest:

So 14 divided by 6 = 2.3 (equivalent)

21 divided by 4 = 5.25 (this is NOT equivalent)

35 divided by 15 = 2.3 (equivalent)

Thus, we can say:

14:6 and 35:15 are equivalent to 7:3 because when we divide them all, they all equal to 2.3

However, 35:15 is NOT equivalent to 7:3 because when we divide it, it didn't give us 2.3

Happy to help!

Answer:

remember when you use ":" that means / aka division!

14/6 = 7/3

14/2 = 7 and 6/2 = 3!

so, that makes 7/3,

21/4 does not equal 7/3.

35/15

35/5 = 7 and 15/5 = 3!

e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:  \alpha=34\°

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Based on the information given in the problem, you can draw the right triangle shown in the figure attached.

2. Keeping the informationn given in the problem, you can calculate the angle that the sum makes with the ground (\alpha)as you can see below:

arctan\alpha=\frac{opposite}{adjacent}

Where:

opposite=4\\adjacent=6

3. Then:

 arctan\alpha=\frac{4}{6}

\alpha=34\°
