The transtheoretical model of behavior change analyzes the stages and processes people go through in bringing about a change in behavior and suggested treatment goals and interventions for each stage.

The transtheoretical model of behavior change is an integrative theory of therapy that assesses a personality's readiness to act on a replacement healthier behavior, and provides strategies, or processes of change to guide the individual.

Five stages of change are conceptualized for a spread of problem behaviors. The five stages of change are precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance. within the adoption of healthy behaviors or the cessation of unhealthy ones.

The transtheoretical model is made toward understanding individuals' behavioral changes and describing how people move dynamically through five different stages of behavioral changes.

Identify which alternative hypotheses regarding the presence of platyrrhines in south america are supported by available evidenc
Savatey [412]

The hypotheses regarding the presence of platyrrhines in south america that are supported by available evidence are:

Platyrrhines evolved from an anthropoid in Africa that migrated south (mainly) on land to Antarctica and then to Patagonia, at the southern tip of South America.

Platyrrhines evolved from an African anthropoid and migrated across the Atlantic to South America.

This hypothesis is supported by the striking similarities among Old World and New World higher primates. During the Eocene, when the weather was much warmer and dryer, migration would have been possible. This hypothesis is supported by evidence.

Beginning in the late Eocene, there were early anthropoids in Africa that predated platyrrhines but looked strikingly similar to the first platyrrhines in South America. This resemblance suggests that platyrrhines evolved in Africa before arriving in South America.

The question seems incomplete. The complete question is:

The following are alternative hypotheses regarding the presence of platyrrhines in South America. Which of these is/are supported by available evidence?

Platyrrhines evolved from an African anthropoid and migrated across the Atlantic to South America.

Platyrrhines evolved from an anthropoid in Africa that migrated south (mainly) on land to Antarctica and then to Patagonia, at the southern tip of South America.

Platyrrhines evolved from a North American anthropoid, then migrated to South America in the late Oligocene.

Old World and New World anthropoids evolved independently from different lineages in Africa and South America, respectively.
