Pharmacokinetics is the study of how an organism affects a drug, whereas pharmacodynamics (PD) is the study of how the drug affects the organism.

What is pharmacodynamics ?

The study of a drug's biochemical and physiological effects is known as pharmacodynamics (PD) (especially pharmaceutical drugs). Animals (including humans), microbes, or mixtures of species may exhibit the effects (for example, infection).

The two primary subfields of pharmacology, which is a discipline of biology concerned with the study of how chemical compounds, both endogenous and exogenous, interact with living things, are pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics.

Pharmacodynamics, in particular, is the study of how a medication affects an organism; pharmacokinetics, on the other hand, is the study of how the drug impacts the organism. Together, they have an impact on dosage, benefits, and negative effects. When used together, such as when discussing PK/PD models, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics are commonly referred to as PD and PK, respectively.

An IQ under 70, such as the 65 that Isaiah has, makes him a person with an intellectual disability. However, his peculiar skill shows that he might have Savant syndrome.

Around 10% of people with autistic disorder have Savant syndrome at different levels, although it also appears in people with other developmental disabilities.
