Mark is doing his internship at a community counseling agency. He recently began seeing Rob a 26 years old graduate student who
wants to get his drinking under control because of a recent DUI. In one of the sessions, Rob discloses that he has been having sexual relations with his 9 year old brother, but he claims that this act is consensual. What should Mark do in this situation:
Mark should go to jail because a 9 year old like his brother is still innocent and he’s growing up barely. The 9 year old might not pursue the situation as bad because he’s been doing for a while, most likely. So Mark should go to jail. Even though he’s trying to get better that’s amazing but the fact that he’s had sexual relations with his 9 year old brother is just not at all right. He needs to pay for his actions. Mark has consent but his little brother doesn’t.
They begin independence early for example if a child cries to be held for sleep and you ignore the child the child will then fall asleep on its own and that small step into independence can lead to first steps friendships and decisions
