The answer is C “it would have been more pleasant to me to have been silent about my own history” and E “I want to add my testimony to that of abler pens to convince the people of the Free States what Slavery really is”. Even it was painful the author Harriet Jacobs decide to tell her history to help the antislavery movement.

What are the four main categories used to develop a narrative?
grandymaker [24]

Answer:

expository, descriptive, persuasive, and narrative.

Explanation:

based on my research, none of these answers would suffice the question. the answer that popped up in all of my research was "expository, descriptive, persuasive, and narrative". however, based on an educated guess, i would say that the correct answer is D, as those are all necessary to most narratives.
