A client is taking amiloride and lisinopril for the treatment of hypertension.

The potassium level laboratory studies are what the nurse should monitor while the client is taking these two medications together

This is further explained below.

What is hypertension?

Generally, If you suddenly develop hyperkalemia and have extremely high potassium levels, you may have symptoms such as heart palpitations, shortness of breath, chest tightness, nausea, and vomiting.

Blood pressure may be lowered with enzyme ( ace enzyme (ACE) inhibitors in the body, which work by relaxing blood vessels. Common examples include enalapril, lisinopril, elements similarities, and lisinopril.

It is possible to reduce blood pressure by engaging in regular physical activity, consuming a diet that is healthier and contains less salt and using medication.

In conclusion, In order to address their hypertension, a patient is now taking both amiloride and lisinopril.

While the patient is taking both of these drugs at the same time, the nurse is responsible for monitoring the client's potassium levels in laboratory testing.

What fMRI-measured brain activity would be expected in a subject witnessing a high-content argument?
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

The correct answer for: What fMRI-measured brain activity would be expected in a subject witnessing a high-content argument? is: A. The frontal lobes in high-motivation, high-knowledge people are more active than the temporal lobes in low-motivation, low-content people.

Explanation:

First of all, this is a very difficult question because the answers are focused on the excitement of the subjects. When fMRIbrain activity is measured in a subject witnessing high-content arguments the frontal lobe will activate in high motivation high knowledge people. While the temporal lobe will activate in low motivation, low content people. So the frontal lobes will show more activity because they are going to be stimulated while the temporal lobe won't, making the stimulation a determining factor of the level of activity in the brain.
