If bacteria were completely removed from soil plants would not be able to produce sufficient proteins and is denoted as option C.

<h3>What is Bacteria?</h3>

This is referred to a type of micro organism which are present in the soil and help in the fixation of nitrogen so a to enable plants absorb them.

They are referred to as nitrogen fixing bacteria and an example is Rhizobium. Nitrogen is  a key component of protein which is why its absence will lead to plants not produce sufficient proteins.
