A need is defined as essential things for humans to survive (food, clothing, shelter, water). The need of a Chick-Fil-A customer is food. A want is defined as something the changes over time and is not necessary for survival. A want is related to a need. Demand is defined as something a customer is willing to pay for to satisfy a need or a want.
Sentencing is not necessarily clear-cut. according to the text, criminal behaviors that can be attributed to stable, controllable causes appear to receive strongest punitive responses and severe sentences punishment, This is because the law tries to differentiate between the acts committed by will and self-determination, to those which are committed by situations that can not be controlled, example: it is not punished in the same way, someone that runs over a person for being under the influence of alcohol, to someone who does it because of a mechanical failure that the vehicle brought.
That means that there is no inequality between the factors (health, income and education) within people in a country.
When that is the case, there is no inequity aversion* and the country will be ranked in a higher position depending on the percentages.
* Inequity aversion occurs when, there is is a difference in a specific index amidst people. When it doesn't occur, people have similar health conditions, similar incomes and education.
