Why does Putin get so much hate from the West? I'm not saying he's perfect by any means. He definitely took some freedoms and ri

ghts away from the Russians that were granted to them in the 90s. But at least we get along with him and he's not a communist like in the Soviet Union. I'm just looking for an explanation.

Sveta_85 [38]

Answer: The Ninth Amendment

Explanation:

The Ninth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America simply has to do with the rights that the people has which were not really stated in the Bills of Rights.

Even though they're not listed, it should be noted that everyone has such rights and no one should deny the people from using the rights. An example is the right to travel.

Most Americans are aware of the importance of personal space. Edward T. Hall, however, contends that there are actually four zon
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

The most acceptable zone with friends is A. Personal distance.

Explanation:

Edward T. Hall developed an idea known as Proxemics, which centers on the idea that every individual can use his/her space a certain way and the effects it can have on our social interaction, behavior, etc.

There can be 4 horizontal distances:

  1. Intimate: touching, embracing.
  2. Personal: interaction with close friends, family.
  3. Social: interaction with people one knows but is not that familiar with, such as coworkers.
  4. Public: with the general public.

In this case, when an individual has an encounter with good friends, he/she tends to stay in the personal distance. It would become an intimate distance if we are talking about a couple or really close friends but in this case, since it is most of the individual's friends, the interaction stays in the personal distance.
