These characters are also in anger because of the people who are cheering for Caesar's return and they start mentioning bad things Caesar has done. However, we can also see that Flavius and Marullus are fearful of Caesar's power when Flavius gives the order to dispossess Caesar's statues from everything.

The characters know their place and because of this is makes them live sad lives because they want more than they can get. The outcome of the story is sad and Lennie shouldn't have died but there was no better option.
